Wakanda Forever
We helped extend Black Panther: Wakanda Forever beyond its theatrical run with a wide range of social and home entertainment creative built around the characters, cultures, and legacy at the heart of the film. From exploring Talokan and the origins of K’uk’ulkan to celebrating Wakanda’s women, the Black Panther mantle, and the film’s larger cultural impact, we created content that gave fans new ways to revisit the story across digital, Blu-ray, and social.
THE CHALLENGE
How do you extend the life of one of Marvel’s most culturally significant films beyond its theatrical release while honoring its emotional legacy and giving fans more of the world they connected with?
OUR APPROACH
Developed a broad slate of social creative supporting the film’s digital and Blu-ray release.
Created character- and world-building content around Namor, Talokan, K’uk’ulkan, the Wakandan protectors, and the women at the center of the story.
Built editorial and video concepts including The Black Panther Lives, Becoming King, Women Warriors of Wakanda, Becoming Black Panther, and Discover More of Wakanda.
Created the I Am Wakanda content series and supporting supercut/YouTube assets to celebrate the identity, community, and cultural meaning surrounding Wakanda.
Produced additional social-first creative that gave audiences fresh entry points into the film beyond traditional release messaging.
THE IMPACT
A layered home entertainment and social campaign that helped keep Wakanda Forever culturally present after its theatrical run, giving fans more opportunities to explore its characters, mythology, themes, and legacy across the film’s digital and physical release.
