Strange World

We developed a social campaign for Strange World that moved from theatrical release updates to character-led, humor-driven, and action-focused content.

For Strange World’s theatrical release, we built a social system that could carry audiences from ticket availability to opening weekend while giving them approachable ways into the film’s characters, humor, and adventure. Countdowns turned key release milestones into clear prompts to buy tickets or see the film in theaters. Carousel series extended the conversation with character introductions, family comedy, creature-focused search prompts, and survival-guide framing drawn from the world of the film. Short video paired the ensemble and action moments with theatrical calls to action and review messaging. Across each format, we shaped the content for quick social reading while keeping every post connected to the same campaign idea. Cynosure developed the release messaging, serialized social concepts, and motion-led assets that made the campaign feel active beyond a single announcement.

Countdowns

We used countdowns to make the theatrical release timeline easy to follow, moving from tickets on sale through one week, three days, and now in theaters. Each post gave audiences a direct, timely reason to act without asking them to decode a new message. Short square motion and a static ticketing announcement kept the release status immediate, while distinct moments from the film gave the recurring format variety.

Carousels

These serialized posts gave audiences more ways into Strange World between major release announcements. We used character reveals to introduce the Clade family, then organized film moments into simple social premises: awkward family interactions, a Where’s Splat? search, advice for escaping peril, and Jaeger’s guide to surviving. Each format made the ensemble, creatures, and adventure world easier to recognize through a clear prompt that could unfold card by card.

Video Assets

We used short-form video to connect the film’s action and ensemble with a concise reason to see it in theaters. The crew-running spot turned the group adventure into a direct theatrical invitation, while repeatable review shells placed critic messaging over different moments from the film. Together, the edits supported release-period attention with quick message holds designed for social viewing.

Cast and Character Cards

We connected the cast of Strange World directly with the characters they brought to life, giving audiences an easy introduction to the voices and personalities behind the adventure.
