Bat-Fam

We shaped an in-world note from Alfred that framed a cupcake-baking activity and explained how the included thermochromic sticker worked.

THE CHALLENGE

How do you introduce a brand-new series to families in a way that’s just as fun away from the screen as it is on it?

OUR APPROACH

  • Reimagined the traditional press kit as an interactive family experience.
  • Partnered with I’m The Chef Too! to create a custom Bat-Fam baking activity alongside original games, keepsakes, and collectibles.
  • Designed every element to encourage families to play, create, and spend time together before watching the series.

THE IMPACT

A memorable influencer experience that extended the spirit of the show beyond the screen and helped introduce Bat-Fam through shared family moments.

For Bat-Fam, we used an in-world note from Alfred to give a boxed cupcake-baking activity a simple narrative reason to exist. Alfred’s apology for missing lunch positioned the baking as part of the experience, rather than an unexplained add-on, while his message also helped recipients understand how to use the included thermochromic sticker. By combining story context and practical instruction in one touchpoint, we made the box easier to enter and gave the activity a character-led frame. Our contribution centered on shaping that Alfred-authored moment for the experience.
