Generac needed a show-stopping educational moment at an industry conference, where attendees had to be able to grasp a complex home-energy offering amid the noise of a crowded show floor. We built the experience around a 30-foot video wall that framed Generac’s products as one whole-home system, then moved into product-level moments that clarified how individual components fit the larger solution. The finished wall served as the attendee-facing centerpiece, while introductory styleframes helped us test the opening story, pacing, and readability from across the space. Our role was to concept and shape a clear, sequential narrative that could attract passersby and make the system easier to understand at scale.
How do you create a show-stopping educational moment for a powerhouse legacy brand at an industry conference?
Created an edutaining and interactive experience for a record-breaking number of over 27,000 attendees at RE+.
We used the video wall as the primary on-site experience, giving attendees a clear way into Generac’s broader home-energy offering. Rather than presenting products as separate solutions, the sequence connected whole-home energy needs to individual components and their roles within the system. Its large format helped the story reach passersby on a crowded conference floor while allowing the presentation to move from the big picture into more specific product information.
These styleframes helped us pressure-test the video wall’s opening chapter before production. Because the introduction had to establish the whole-home story and make PWRcell’s place within it clear from across the show floor, we used this stage to refine pacing, narrative order, and graphic scale for the 30-foot display. The work created a more legible entry point to the larger presentation.
