For #1 Happy Family USA, we built organic social around the moments that made the series’ first-generation family comedy and character dynamics easy to recognize in the scroll. We used character-led supercuts to turn familiar pressures around family expectations, ambition, and belonging into relatable humor, while additional clips gave audiences quick ways into recurring jokes and distinct personalities. Behind-the-scenes edits connected the finished animation to the people and performances behind it, including a direct conversation around code-switching. Together, the work created several entry points into the show’s world, from cultural specificity to character comedy. We shaped these ideas into concise social formats designed to make the series feel approachable without flattening what made it personal.
We used behind-the-scenes edits to connect the series’ animated comedy to the people and performances shaping it. Recording-booth pairings showed how Ramy Youssef and Timothy Simons’ delivery carried into their characters, while a candid conversation with Ramy Youssef and Mona Chalabi gave code-switching a personal entry point grounded in the show itself.
We made Mona and Rumi’s first-generation family experiences into separate character-led supercuts, using humor to make familiar pressures around expectations, ambition, and generational perspective immediately recognizable. Rumi’s blunt family logic and Mona’s class-president run gave the campaign two specific ways to explore the show’s central tensions without reducing them to a single idea.
We used compact character and recurring-joke edits to keep audiences returning to #1 Happy Family USA beyond its core first-generation framing. Rumi’s comedic beats, Lamby’s sweet-to-unsettling turn, and the repeated “inshallah” line each offered a quick, memorable hook, giving viewers approachable ways to recognize the show’s particular sense of humor and revisit its world.
