Mr. Iglesias

We built a social campaign around the personalities, relationships, and classroom humor of Mr. Iglesias, turning character moments into memes, themed edits, parody trailers, and motion-led social videos. The work gave fans more ways to engage with the show beyond the episodes while keeping the comedy rooted in its school setting.

Across Seasons 1 and 2 of Mr. Iglesias, we built a social campaign around the show’s classroom humor, character relationships, and ensemble chemistry. We created memes, character-focused edits, blooper reels, themed social videos, and playful genre parodies like the Mikey and Marisol telenovela trailer to extend the comedy beyond the episodes. The work gave fans more ways to engage with the cast and storylines while keeping each piece rooted in the voice and world of the series.

Key Art and Out Of Home Designs

The ensemble is the heart of Mr. Iglesias, so we built the key art around the idea of everybody piling in together. Gabe and his students ride through a stylized Los Angeles school environment in a hand-drawn bus, combining cast photography with illustrated architecture, palm trees, clouds, and loose graphic details that give the campaign a playful classroom feel. We adapted the system across release-date artwork, wide streaming creative, and compact Netflix product-art formats while keeping the characters readable at every scale.

Social Embed – Class Quiz

The Mr. Iglesias Quiz series uses short-form social video to put personality first, building each installment around a different featured participant. The format gives the campaign a repeatable structure while still letting every video feel individual, creating a casual way to connect audiences with the humor and point of view surrounding the series.

Date Announcement: SEEN

We wrote this character-driven date announcement around a simple classroom gag, with Mikey secretly crowdsourcing the answer to question number two before learning the date was on the board the whole time.

LA LIVE Premiere Out Door Digital Bill Boards

For the Mr. Iglesias premiere at LA Live, we created a suite of event-screen content built around the show’s ensemble. Multiple screen configurations paired different combinations of Gabe, Tony, Marisol, Mikey, Walt, Paula, Carlos, Ray, Abigail, Lorenzo, and Grace, giving the venue a rotating mix of familiar faces and character chemistry. The system extended the personality of the series beyond the theater screen and into the physical premiere experience.

Teacher Appreciation

We created this 9:16 social asset around Gabe for Teacher Appreciation Day, connecting the occasion directly to the teacher-first premise of Mr. Iglesias. The vertical format gave Netflix a piece built specifically for social, using one of the show’s central characters to make the holiday feel native to the world of Wilson High rather than like a generic calendar post.

BTS Boomerangs

Sometimes the smallest moments give you the best social assets. We captured a series of short looping Boomerangs around the Mr. Iglesias set during our social embed, using reactions, physical comedy, classroom behavior, and a little behind-the-scenes chaos to make the cast feel approachable outside the finished episodes. Shot vertically and built for quick consumption, the series gave Netflix a steady stream of character-driven social content that felt native to the way people were already using Instagram.

Best Buds Clip Pulls

We turned the friendships at the heart of Mr. Iglesias into a run of quick social videos, pulling out the little character moments that make this group feel like people who genuinely know, annoy, and care about each other.

Teacher Memes

We turned familiar teacher moments into a set of social memes built around expressive reactions from Mr. Iglesias, from classroom jokes and surprise drop-ins to parent emails and summer-reading dread. Each asset begins with a recognizable teacher experience, then lets a reaction from the show complete the thought. Simple headline framing, bold speech bubbles, and carefully chosen scene moments keep each joke readable at a glance while giving the series a consistent social voice.

Mr. Iglesias | Character & Cast Highlights

We gathered Abby’s best moments into a character-led social cut that gives her personality room to carry the edit.

Mr. Iglesias | Conspiracy 101 with Lorenzo

We turned Lorenzo’s conspiracy-theory energy into a mock classroom lesson, using a foil hat and playful school-inspired graphics to make the premise readable at a glance.

Bloopers

We pulled together the cast’s missed takes, breaks, and behind-the-scenes laughs into a blooper reel that lets the chemistry off-camera become part of the joke.

Sr. Iglesias: El Drama de Marisol

We recut Mikey and Marisol’s romantic storyline as Sr. Iglesias: El Drama de Marisol, a telenovela-style social trailer where every glance, interruption, and hint of jealousy gets the full melodramatic treatment.
