The Legend of Vox Machina | Season 4

We supported Season 4 of The Legend of Vox Machina with a broad social system designed to reconnect fans with the story and sustain momentum across weekly episode drops. Our work included Threads of Fate character recaps, episodic intros, title reveals, Next on Vox teasers, Critical Hits, Losing Faith, villain highlights, cutscenes, VQCs, convention assets, cast content, and launch creative—giving fans fresh ways to follow the party’s fractured journey across Tal’Dorei.

Talent Capture

We created a series of playful, cast-driven pieces that leaned into Critical Role’s chemistry and inside jokes, including Sam Riegel revealing an Andy Serkis shirt beneath layers of Matt Mercer merch, a full-cast “Fuck Shit Up” sing-along with on-screen lyrics, and a heist-themed Mad Libs game led by Matt Mercer. Together, the concepts gave fans loose, personality-forward moments that felt true to the cast while naturally tying back to Season 4.

Critical Questions: We captured the cast answering Session 0-style questions about Vox Machina and their characters, giving longtime Critters and new fans alike a deeper look at the personalities, motivations, and relationships that shaped the party.

Ladies of Vox

We made a series of assets with the leading ladies from the cast during a special in-person fan screening of the show.

Critical Hits

We created fast-paced highlight edits set to high-energy music, spotlighting Vox Machina’s most brutal and satisfying blows to celebrate the season’s biggest battles and keep fans hyped between episodes.

Threads Of Fate

Doty and Dot Cross Over

A playful cross-promotion pairing Vox Machina’s Doty with the new Echo Dot Max, using their shared “assistant” roles to build a character-driven social piece that connected Amazon’s device launch with the humor and world of Season 4. We adopted the childlike style from Grogg’s song in the first episode of the season and reimagined different characters in this all-new short story.

Full-color character turnaround of a tall armored automaton with glowing cyan eyes and a red topknot, accompanied by a sticker-style sketch, a human-scale line drawing, and a small chibi party roster.

Broken Team Across The World

We created a series of character-focused images that place each member of Vox Machina in a different location across Tal’Dorei, reminding fans where the team left off in Season 3 while teasing their separate paths in Season 4.
